Finance Business Process Analyst

What will you do?

 

·       Analyze existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization, and propose solutions to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.

·       One of the first areas you will focus on will be the optimization and further development of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, helping to increase transparency, automation, and process effectiveness.

·       Explore opportunities to leverage AI agents and intelligent automation to streamline financial workflows and reduce manual effort. Experience with AI-driven automation is considered a strong advantage.

·       Provide guidance and support to finance team members when introducing new processes or tools to ensure successful adoption.

·       Ensure proper documentation and governance of financial processes, including maintaining structured process maps and documentation to support clarity, consistency, and compliance.

·       Collaborate closely with the Finance team and the Finance Process Manager, as well as with cross-functional stakeholders including PMO, Commercial, IT, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure financial processes are effective and aligned with broader organizational objectives.

 

What you need?

 

·       Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role, with a track record of delivering successful process improvements.

·       Experience with automation, digital tools, or data analysis to support process improvements; familiarity with intelligent automation or AI tools is considered an advantage.

·       Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and design effective solutions.

·       Good understanding of finance and commercial business operations, with the ability to translate business needs into process improvements.

·       Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

·       Experience with process mapping and modelling (e.g. BPMN or similar techniques) and familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, or Lean Six Sigma.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and build strong working relationships.

·       A proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, drive change, and adapt in a dynamic environment.

·       As we are an international company, advanced English is required, together with fluency in Czech or Slovak.
