The E2E System Designer will work closely with the ORAN Release Manager to manage technical details and technical related aspects in RAN release introduction projects. This role will involve overseeing project planning with focus on technical solutions in mobile RAN (Radio Access Network), technical negotiations, low level designs, and coordinating the implementation of RAN products in the DT lab environment, including organizing testing activities.
What you will do
Technical Project Planning
- Collaborate with the Technical Product Lead to plan and execute RAN release introduction projects.
- Coordinate technical aspects of release content packaging across different domains end-to-end (RAN, Transport, OSS, Security, Cloud).
- Plan and organize testing activities in the RAN laboratory, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Prepare the technical analysis for decisions and act as technical single point of contact towards Technical Product Lead and the Product Owner.
Technical Support and Design
- Assist in technical negotiations with our suppliers and provide technical support in commercial negotiations.
- Be responsible for E2E system design across the technical domains.
- Create the Low Level Design in the Radio Resource Management area (all RATs).
Organizing Testing in Laboratory
- Be responsible for E2E system testing in our RAN laboratory.
- Manage the test environment and coordinate the execution of tests, including feature verification and validation.
- Prepare the technical inputs to issue and escalate towards other teams within the our laboratory.
- Execute the Radio Resource Management tests.
- Document and report test results, findings, and identified areas for improvement.
Communication and Reporting
- Facilitate technical communication between different departments and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Technical Product Lead and Product Owner.
Technical team Supervision
- Supervise our technical team members and ensure that technical content is completed with specified quality and within the committed time frame.
Required knowledge and skills
- Familiar with ORAN or similar Radio Network solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Cloud solutions.
- Interested in Mobile Access Networks and willingness to develop further.
- Understand the Radio Network design and testing.
- Cooperative team player.
- Willing to travel mainly within Europe.
- Capable to handle above mentioned tasks in English.
- Having Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and suppliers.
- Have a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science).
