What to expect

determine the tariff classification of goods according to product specifications
coordinate and arrange sea and air transportation of materials to/from third countries as required by production
ensure customs operations, including clearance of goods for customs procedures, control and registration of customs documents
communicate with customs agents and customs
record customs debts and prepare invoices for payment
organize tenders for transport and packaging services
preparing documents and applications for authorization to use special arrangements, including checking compliance with the conditions laid down by the customs administration

What you need

university degree
very good knowledge of Czech and English, B2 level
proven knowledge of tariff classification, transport and customs clearance of third country consignments (at least 4 years) – according to Czech legislation
knowledge of customs legislation - Czech Republic, EU
very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), knowledge of SAP an advantage
systematic and careful approach to work and ability to think analytically
proactivity, flexibility and ability to react quickly to changes
independence in work and decision-making.
