Main Responsibilities
1. To provide and support SUN Divisional month end close:
- Support the GPS bridges submissions
- Support the divisional monthly reviews
- Post the divisional central adjustments
- Support the report preparation for month end close e.g. PIS, Structural changes, ECM pack and others.
- Support Admin divisional analyses
- Ad hoc tasks required
2. Improve the processes and reporting of the SIA BU finance function:-
- Support analysis on the full Profit & Loss account for the SIA BU
- Support monthly forecasting & annual budgeting process
- Support the Business cases preparations.
- Developing new reports and processes to respond to business information needs.
- Automate the production and distribution of existing reports.
- Participation on projects based on business need.
- Contribute to the knowledge and best practice sharing within the whole Vacuum Technique Finance team.
- To evaluate proactively internal processes in order to drive for improvement / standardizing across the Edwards entities globally.
- Be familiar with “The Way We Do Things” and “Business Code of Practice” and apply in daily operations.
3. Work closely with business controller and other internal customers to provide them with performance visibility and ad-hoc financial analyses as background for business decisions when needed. Requires the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships in a decentralised, matrix environment.
- Be a passionate and approachable person from internal customers with openness and collaboration mindset, including effective communication skills at various organizational levels and with different cultures.
- Provide timely support with active and committed interaction
- Where necessary, provide system trainings of eg GPS and analysis tool such as BW, QAR, BPC, Power BI.
Skills
- Degree level education (University)
- At least 4 years relevant financial experience
- Fluent in English
- Strong presenter and communicator, able to explain detailed project data and risks concisely to a wide audience of varying backgrounds and skills
- Energetic and innovative self-starter with a strong customer focus
- Builds strong successful relationships within and outside of the finance team and able to foster commitment throughout the organization to ensure issues are resolved seamlessly
- Technical skills – MS Office, SAP, BPC, BW (Hana), SQL, Power BI
