For this reason, we want to expand our Finance team with someone who will join our Group Tax Manager Matúš Šiška and become part of the tax team at Notino. What will you do?

  • Prepare periodical tax returns and related reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct regular checks on accounting records to ensure transactions are reported correctly.
  • Identify and report issues, and participate in their resolution.
  • Complete tax provisions, computations, and statutory returns under general supervision.
  • Research tax specialities for senior team members and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare requested documentation and provide data as required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect data for audits.
  • Work with external tax advisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process or system enhancements and assist in their resolution.
  • Respond to queries from external and internal stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Ensure reconciliations of balance sheet accounts are accurate and complete.
  • Provide general assistance to tax consultants on research, analysis, and other taxation work.

What do you need?

  • Ability to analyze financial data with precision and accuracy.
  • You need some experience with Excel to create reports, analyze data etc.
  • Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Proactive approach to finding ways to make things better and faster, ability to adapt to changes.
  • Good problem-solving skills to fix issues and streamline workflows.
  • We are an international company, so at least B2 level of English is a must, you also need to be fluent in Czech/Slovak.
  • Great communication skills to work with different teams, you should be able to work both alone and with a team.
  • Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
