Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk including managing reception telephone calls for the organization
- Process Workplace Strategy’s invoices and expenses, and manage budget reconciliation
- Greet visitors courteously and contact appropriate staff member
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Maintain the front desk area in an orderly and presentable manner
- Maintain and update various data sets and provide analysis, as needed
- Coordinate meeting schedules and travel arrangements
- Provide a high level of customer service to our staff and visitors
- Providing general administrative support for the entire Workplace Strategy team, and
- Ad hoc projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of work experience
- Excellent interpersonal customer service and organizational skills are required
- Timely completion and attention to detail are expected, as is the ability to make decisions and access situations with the “big picture” in mind
- Must like to work collaboratively but be able to execute hands-on and independently
- A proactive approach that is intuitive and able to anticipate circumstances
- Ability to work accurately and with composure under deadline pressures
- Must thrive in an environment where multiple activities are ongoing
- Strong knowledge of and experience for office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Workplace, and Concur
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly trustworthy and able to deal with confidential information
- Willingness to be available for occasional overtime work
- Bachelor’s degree and interest in environmental advocacy is not required
